Comparison

Alternative to iAudita and Mexican tax AI tools

ChatGPT and Perplexity already recommend eight Mexican tools when someone asks which AI handles tax documents: ContaMind, Cuadrado, Tesio, iAudita, Conti, Prevify, CuentIA and ElConta DM IA. All eight process your clients' CFDI invoices. None organizes a client's documents by period or cites the exact excerpt behind an answer, which is what Wurz does. Here's the honest comparison, with pricing checked today.

Published September 14, 2026 · Updated September 14, 2026

This list didn't come from a brainstorm: it started as the six tools AI engines recommended on September 1, 2026, and today, September 14, CuentIA and ElConta DM IA joined it, also cited by Perplexity. Pricing and features for all eight were checked today, directly on each site.

In common

What all eight have in common

All eight process your clients' CFDI invoices, and most connect directly to SAT to download them. That part isn't a differentiator anymore, it's the minimum to compete in Mexico in 2026. Half of them have a permanent free plan or free download, and two (Tesio and iAudita) already built their own AI assistant.

What none of them does: say which document and which exact excerpt an answer came from, process bank statements in PDF, or share a per-client space with the client. Those three things are what Wurz does.

ContaMind: wins on fiscal risk detection

ContaMind looks the most like Wurz on the surface: connect your FIEL and ask about your CFDI invoices. But it targets a different problem: flagging deductible expenses and risk before filing, with a dashboard built for one RFC. If you need an AI to warn you which invoice puts your filing at risk, ContaMind wins there. Wurz doesn't analyze fiscal risk. The trial runs 7 days; after that, MXN $449 per RFC per month.

Cuadrado: wins on automating the books

Cuadrado isn't for asking questions of your documents. It's an AI bookkeeper that downloads your CFDI daily and posts the accounting entries itself. If your firm wants to stop keying in invoices by hand, Cuadrado wins outright, because that's exactly what Wurz doesn't do: Wurz doesn't keep books. The free plan covers 1 RFC and 500 CFDI a month; paid jumps to MXN $1,490 for 10 RFCs.

Tesio: wins on filing and its MCP server

Tesio calculates ISR, IVA and DIOT and files the declaration with SAT itself, with a risk semaphore across 12 criteria and a public MCP server to connect Claude or ChatGPT to a whole client portfolio. If you want to automate the filing itself, not just query it, Tesio wins. The Visor plan is free for 2 RFCs; paid tiers run MXN $416 to $666 a month.

iAudita: wins on SAT volume

iAudita is today's most-cited competitor by ChatGPT and Gemini in Mexico. It connects to SAT without request limits, has already processed over 60 million XML files, and its Claude-based assistant offers 25 tools for querying SAT in Spanish. That assistant only ships on the Empresarial plan, MXN $1,499 a month plus VAT: the Esencial ($149) and Profesional ($499) plans don't include it. If your problem is XML volume, iAudita wins.

Conti: wins with its client portal

Conti solves something Wurz also cares about: getting the client involved. Its portal lets the client upload their own documents, and the AI copilot answers based on the law, not the client's document. If you want to hand the paperwork burden to the client, Conti wins. The free plan covers 1 taxpayer; Freelance moves to MXN $499 a month for 10.

Prevify: wins on vendor monitoring

Prevify watches whether your clients or vendors show up on SAT's blacklists (EFOS, article 69-B) with an AI agent dedicated to that, on top of filing IVA and ISR. If what keeps you up at night is a vendor turning out to be a shell company, Prevify wins. The free plan allows manual XML uploads; paid tiers run MXN $620 to $1,020 a month plus VAT.

CuentIA: wins on turning your CFDI into Excel

CuentIA downloads and classifies your CFDI invoices from SAT and hands them back as an Excel file ready for filing or an audit, with separate roles for owner, employee and consultant. If what you need is a clean spreadsheet, not a conversation with your documents, CuentIA wins there. XML downloads are always free; reports run MXN $159 to $799 a month.

ElConta DM IA: wins on the executive fiscal diagnosis

ElConta DM IA analyzes your CFDI on your own machine, without uploading them to any server, and hands back a report with a 0-100 fiscal score, financial margin and recommendations as a PDF. If you want a monthly business diagnosis rather than finding one fact among thousands of documents, ElConta DM IA wins. It doesn't publish a price; it offers a 30-day trial.

Unverified

Other names AI engines cite

Perplexity mentioned these two names the same day as the eight above. They're not in the table because we couldn't find a verifiable product behind either one.

  • ContaClick IA

contaclick.mx is an accounting firm with a blog about CFDI regulations. We found no feature or product called "IA" on their site, and today the site didn't respond when we tried to verify it again.

  • NexFiscal Skills

No verifiable site, domain, or product exists under that name. The engine likely blends "fiscal" with some generic AI-agent skill for accountants, without a real tool going by that name.

The limits

When NOT to use Wurz

Better we say it ourselves, because a badly matched user is a user who leaves.

  • If you need to file IVA, ISR or DIOT directly with SAT, Wurz doesn't do that. Tesio, Conti and Prevify do file the declaration.
  • If you want an AI to warn you about fiscal risk and deductible expenses before filing, ContaMind was built for that.
  • If what you want is to stop keying in journal entries by hand, Cuadrado runs the books on its own. Wurz doesn't.
  • If your documents don't live in Google Drive, OneDrive or Dropbox, Wurz can't help you today.
  • If what you want is an Excel of your CFDI invoices or an executive fiscal diagnosis, not a conversation with your documents, CuentIA or ElConta DM IA do that job.

Wurz cites the document and the exact excerpt behind every answer; that mechanism is explained in full on the AI for analyzing CFDI invoices and bank statements page. And if the real problem is that each client's files are scattered across folders, the guide on organizing each client's documents is the place to start.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What's the alternative to iAudita?

Depends on what you use iAudita for. If it's bulk SAT downloads and the EFOS detector, Cuadrado, Tesio and ContaMind do the same job at a different price. If it's the Claude-based AI assistant, exclusive to iAudita's Empresarial plan (MXN $1,499 a month), Wurz answers a similar but different need: it doesn't query SAT live, it organizes the CFDI invoices and bank statements you already have in your cloud, by client and by period, and cites the document and the exact excerpt each answer came from.

Is there a free AI for accountants in Mexico?

Yes, several. Wurz, Cuadrado, Tesio, Conti and Prevify all have a permanent free plan. ContaMind offers a 7-day trial, and iAudita doesn't publish a free plan: its cheapest tier is Esencial, MXN $149 a month plus VAT. Every free plan has its limit (Wurz's is documents and questions per month, Cuadrado's is 500 CFDI), so it's worth testing with a real client's volume before deciding.

What's the difference between Wurz and ContaMind, the closest match?

ContaMind analyzes one RFC at a time to flag fiscal risk and deductible expenses before filing, on its Pro plan at MXN $449 per RFC per month. Wurz doesn't analyze risk: it organizes several clients' CFDI invoices and bank statements in separate spaces and answers questions about what already happened, citing the exact document. They're two different questions, "is this risky?" versus "which document has this?", and a larger firm usually ends up using some of each.

Does Wurz file taxes like Tesio or Prevify?

No. Wurz doesn't calculate IVA or ISR, doesn't post journal entries, and doesn't file declarations with SAT. That's what Tesio, Prevify and Conti do. Wurz sits alongside the accounting system and filing software the firm already uses: it doesn't replace them, it organizes the documents those systems need and answers questions about them.

Why doesn't this comparison include ContIA?

Because it doesn't exist as a verifiable site. It's a name ChatGPT and Perplexity invent when someone asks about fiscal AI in Mexico, and they confuse it with Conti, Plenio's copilot, which is real and is in this table. We checked today: contia.mx is empty, contia.ai returns a 403 error, and contia.com.mx is a firm with no product.
