How it works

From a loose PDF to an answer you can stand behind

Wurz isn't a search engine that returns files, nor a chat you paste a document into. It organizes what you have and answers by pointing at where each fact came from.

Your question

How much did we invoice Constructora Norte del Bajío in the first quarter?

Wurz's answer

In the first quarter of 2026 you invoiced Constructora Norte del Bajío $487,300.00 MXN in subtotals, across three invoices: $132,500.00 in January , $164,800.00 in February and $190,000.00 in March . Including transferred VAT, the quarter's total is $565,268.00 MXN.

Hover over any citation —or tap it— and the document opens alongside, at the exact excerpt the fact came from.

The journey

What happens to a document when you upload it

Four stages, from upload to answer. None of them keeps a copy of your file: what remains is the summary, the references, and the metadata.

  1. 01

The document is read as what it is

Wurz looks at the file before deciding how to treat it. An invoice (CFDI) or a bank statement in PDF already carries its text inside and is read directly, in milliseconds. A PDF that is really the photo of a piece of paper goes through optical character recognition, which is slow and expensive, and is therefore reserved for what truly needs it.

Every document ends up with its summary and references ready to query, and each file's status shows on the dashboard: you know what has been read and what is still processing.

  2. 02

    It gets split and summarized

The text is cut into chunks with a little overlap, so a sentence that lands right on the edge doesn't get lost. From each chunk, its contents are extracted, and then a summary of the whole document is assembled.

From that work, the summary and the references are kept. The full text is discarded when processing ends.

  3. 03

The references are kept — not the file

People, clients, tax concepts, and dates become queryable references, along with minimal metadata: the file's name, when it was uploaded, and who uploaded it. The original lives in your cloud storage: Google Drive, Dropbox, or OneDrive.

That's what lets you filter by client or by period without Wurz holding a copy of anything.

  4. 04

You ask, and the answer brings its source

Wurz answers with what it has already summarized. When that isn't enough, it opens the original document from your cloud to read it in depth — and tells you it did. Every figure comes with the document and the excerpt it came from.

You can narrow the scope to one client or one period, and whatever falls outside stops existing for that conversation. It's not a suggestion to the model: it's enforced in code.

Why the citation

The difference between an answer and an answer you can stand behind

A summary without a source forces you to choose between trusting it or redoing the work. Neither helps when the figure is headed for a tax filing.

1

Answers are built from excerpts, not from memory

The model that answers you doesn't receive your full documents: it receives specific excerpts, each with its identifier. It can't cite something it wasn't given.

2

Every citation is checked against its source

Before showing you an answer, Wurz looks for the quoted sentence inside the excerpt it claims to come from. The comparison is done by the program, letter by letter — not by another language model.

3

What you see cited has already been verified

Every citation that reaches your screen passed that literal comparison against its source excerpt. That's why you can put it in a filing and, with one click, show the document it came from.

A summary without a source

“You invoiced them around half a million pesos over the quarter.”

Where did that come from? With or without VAT? To find out you have to open the invoices — that is, do the work that was supposedly already done.

An answer from Wurz

“$487,300.00 in subtotals, across three invoices” — and next to each figure, the CFDI and the exact line that contains it.

One click and you're looking at the document. If someone asks tomorrow where the number came from, the answer already carried it.

The rest

What else it brings

Separate workspaces

One workspace per firm or per client, with its own documents, people, and permissions. What's in one workspace can't be seen from another.

Four roles

One who only reads, one who uploads and organizes, one who manages the team, and one who owns the workspace. Each can do exactly what their name says.

Filters the chat understands too

The scope you set on the dashboard is the same scope the chat answers with. If you filter by one client, the conversation only looks at that client.

Deep reports

For work that a single answer can't cover, Wurz plans an outline, extracts section by section, and writes a cited report you can download.

Export to Excel

Whatever you find downloads as a spreadsheet, so you keep working where you already work.

Audit log

Uploading, deleting, tagging, inviting, or disconnecting Drive leaves a record of who and when. Without ever storing document contents.
